PERMACULTURE
Ethics & Principles...
how to live...
Permaculture is an innovative design process based on whole-systems, holistic thinking, ethics, and principles.

This approach guides us to mimic the patterns and relationships we can find in nature and can be applied to all aspects of human habitation, from agriculture to ecological building, from appropriate technology to education and even economics.'

David Holmgrem the cofounder of permaculture defines the 12 principles of permaculture as,
“Thinking tools, that when used together, allow us to creatively re-design our environment and our behavior in a world of less energy and resources.”

The ethics of permaculture are: 'care for the Earth, care for people, and give back to both (fair share).'
